Most customers come to Enhance a Colour to fulfill large format graphics needs.  In this case, however, Enhance a Colour’s superior color management techniques for custom fabric textiles brought the client through the door.  This unique request allowed Enhance a Colour to work creatively and to work small.  Using the same dye sublimated fabric process used to create 16 foot dye sublimated fabric banners and fabric backdrops; Enhance a Colour produced 40 individualized 14” square pillows and corresponding custom pillow cases.  Enhance a Colour’s sewing department proved the quality of their work by keeping their stitches small. The finished pillows will be seen on future Sponge Bob television programs.

Enhance a Colour was called upon by the promotion agency of AXE Hair products to create a 10 ft. by 10 ft. trade show display in under two weeks. The concept was to have two stylists at an event styling hair and giving away AXE products, while simultaneously drawing attention to and promoting the AXE Hair products line. The difficult part was to work in an open space with no walls, be portable and yet have a closed environment. Enhance a Colour’s solution was to use a 10 ft. by 10 ft. carpet, customized with the AXE logo, which tied the space together. We then set up two stylists stations and custom branded the remaining area by creating two self-illuminated, unique, AXE Hair barber poles that were placed in the back of the space, along with two double sided banner stands to close off the space from the sides. We then created two black acrylic tables that were used for product giveaways and were positioned at the front of the booth. The beauty of the space is flexibility, everything is movable and portable so the space can be set up differently depending on the lighting and environment.

Operation: Opel Insignia Space Ship Drop for GMEnhance a Colour takes part in the London Car Show by helping GM with the launch of Opel’s new “Insignia Invasion”. Instead of having the regular car presentation, GM wanted to create a “Jaw Dropping” experience. After meeting with their PR and Event Production companies, Opel decided to reveal the new car by dropping it out of a prop space ship from 150ft in the air. Since the could not actually create a space ship out of metal, the question became “how do we imitate the look of a space ship and create the effect?” This is where Enhance a Colour comes in.

The project became a group effort by all the departments within EaC. The first step was to find a material that was to resemble the silver metal from the ship but also had to be waterproof to protect the hoist system inside. Once this was accomplished, EaC designers worked with the PR firm to help create the look of the ship and have the right dimensions to fit the framing structure. EaC then had its sewing and fabricating department take the printed goods, water proofing material and attachment pieces and transfrm them into the panels for the outer layer of the space ship. It was then delivered to our clients location to mount to the frame. This was done in a matter of 3 weeks and was a huge success at the London Car Show.

Working in conjunction with a promotional agency,  EAC was able to transform New York City’s Grand Central Station’s waiting area into a miniature tennis stadium to help Tennis Magazine promote the U.S. Open. With EAC’s services, we created 14’ x 30’ long drops that simutated a crowded stadium, vinyl backdrops, table skirts and other promotional items added visual excitement to the event. In addition, our installation crew came in at midnight prior to the week long event and installed all the visuals.
