Last holiday season, the Spark Group LLC. chose to work with Enhance a Colour for planning, graphic production, and on-site graphic installation of graphics for a Holiday Gala.

After the Spark Group LLC. completed the conceptual design, Enhance a Colour’s installation team inspected the facility, measured graphic-targeted areas such as windows, floors, and bathrooms, and tested materials to find suitable product alternatives.  Using the installation team’s measurements, Enhance a Colour’s pre-imaging team created templates for the graphics.

Following several iterations of proofs, Enhance a Colour created the following graphics for the event:

Enhance a Colour, doing business since 1988, has been using dye-sublimation processes to create banners and displays for our customers since 1995.

Today, we can print up to 122 inches wide using transfer paper or 192 inches wide direct to the material using a dye sublimated process.  To our knowledge, we are the only one capable of producing 16 foot wide printed fabric, having designed and constructed a heat transfer machine to our exact specifications for the purpose.

Some competitors will try to sell you printed fabric created using solvent inks.  Watch out for this. Our dye sublimated printed fabric is machine-washable.  You can steam out wrinkles, and clean dirty areas with no impact to the image.  Ask our competitors if you can do the same with their solvent printed fabric.  You will also find the colors on solvent printed fabrics do not last as long as our durable dye sublimated fabric prints, which have colors that one trade-show visitor remarked “popped” when compared to the other samples at a recent Surfaces trade show event.

Other competitors will try and convince you to use vinyl for your project.  Using printed fabric is a better choice when you consider that it is easier to fold and lighter to ship.  This means that our printed fabric is cheaper to ship, resulting in added savings over a long trade show season, or from the multi-site special event campaign.

Banner Stands

Banner stands are great for media and PR events, trade shows, sampling promotions, retail signage and road shows. Specially designed aluminum frames allow taut, wrinkle-resistant fabric to be used, which can be set-up and taken down in less than five minutes. The frames are telescopic for adjusting height, lightweight and the banners are easily installed to the frame using pole pockets. Lime Rock Park

Lime Rock Park, a historic road racing track located in beautiful northwestern Connecticut, was built in 1957 and is the first track designed using scientific principals. This venue hosts many races during the season including the Nascar Whelan Modified Tour and the Grand-Am Rolex Series Memorial Day Classic. Enhance a Colour has been working with Lime Rock Park producing and installing billboards and banners throughout the park.

The Lime Rock Drivers Club requested 2 banners be printed and installed on either side of the pedestrian bridge over the track. Each banner measured an incredible 100 feet wide by 6 feet high, directly printed onto vinyl banner material as one continuous piece on our large format printer.

For the Grand-Am Rolex Series Memorial Day Classic, EACGS had printed three billboards for BMW. One massive billboard measured 48 feet wide by 18 feet high and four billboards measuring 24 feet wide by 12 feet high, printed seamless onto 13 oz. vinyl banner material. Two additional billboards were produced that measured 100 feet wide by 6 feet high and another was 30 feet wide by 6 feet high.

For the Nascar Whelan Modified Tour sponsored by Town Fair Tire, Enhance a Colour had the opportunity to produce signage for the event . Two billboards, measuring 20 feet wide by 4 feet high, promoting the event and it’s sponsors were printed onto 13 oz. vinyl banner material and installed by our Enhance a Colour installation crew.

There were 2 different designs and shapes used for the 5 carpets, all dye-sub printed to carpet material with rubberized backs. The largest carpet was 15 feet by 15 feet, two carpets measured 10 feet by 10 feet, and the last was 10 feet by 6 feet 3.5 inches.

Enhance a Colour also created two 8 foot tall Coke Zero Cans. The cans were UV flatbed printed to white Sintra material and die-cut to shape including condensation drops on the sides of the can.

PepsiCo enAble "Kids Sports Spectacular"-Backdrop

PepsiCo and the United Spinal Association combined their efforts to offer a fun-filled day of sports activities for children with disabilities. PepsiCo enAble hosted the “Kids Sports Spectacular” event at Pepsi’s World Headquarters in Purchase, NY. The event promotes inclusion and focuses on an individual’s abilities rather than their disabilities.

Enhance a Colour teamed up with TruEvents to provide a Halloween themed fabric banner. TruEvents donated the artwork and Enhance a Colour donated the fabric and printing. The banner, used as a setting for photos taken during the event, was a 240″ wide x 96″ high dye-sub printed fabric backdrop.

The representatives from PepsiCo enAble were very pleased and grateful for our donation. The event was a hit with the children!

Vacation in Austria

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to visit Austria? Earlier this month, from October 5-19th, the Austrian Tourist Office created a Pop-Up Shop at the Openhouse Gallery in NYC. One of Europe’s hidden gems, this culturally-rich country offers a slew of artistic and culinary pleasures.

At the Pop-Up Shop visitors had the chance to experience what it’s like to visit various tourist destinations in Austria. Enjoy a torte at a replica Viennese coffeehouse, “Cafe Sacher” or see world famous artwork at the “KHM Museum”. While visiting the Pop-Up Shop you also had the opportunity to get information on planning your next vacation from the Austrian Travel Lodge.

M Crown Productions came to Enhance a Colour to create the graphics to transform the Openhouse Gallery space into the Austrian Pop-Up Shop. Enhance a Colour used many different materials and processes in this project. From cut vinyl for windows and door lettering, UV flatbed printing on Fat Head material and Gatorboard for the graphics, to dye-sublimated fabric printing for the backdrops. Our professional installation team installed the graphics throughout the space, creating a beautiful and cohesive look for the Pop-Up Shop.

Columbus Citizens Foundation Gala Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel

In celebration of Columbus Day, the Columbus Citizens Foundation hosted a black-tie Gala Dinner on the evening of Saturday, October 8, 2011. A tradition since 1944, the foundation members and their guests meet in the Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom for an evening of friendship and entertainment celebrating the relationship between Italy and the United States while raising funds for scholarships.

Eating, dancing and live entertainment are only part of the evening. They also celebrate a few special individuals who are leaders in their community. Three men were honored this year including the parade’s Grand Marshall Joseph Plumeri, along with Robert La Penta and Stephen Squeri.

Enhance a Colour created 6 different dye-sublimation printed backdrops for this event. Three banners and stands, one for each honoree, highlighting their individual achievements were created and displayed in the lobby of the hotel. For the stage backdrop in the Grand Ballroom, a 28 feet wide by 20 feet tall backdrop was created featuring the Grand Marshall. The backdrop was flanked by two 4 feet wide banners featuring Stephen Squeri and Robert La Penta.

Budweiser Futbol Kings

Enhance a Colour has come up with a new product producing graphics for the use of flooring called Printable Dance Floor/Marley. For special events, traveling shows, and even permanent installation, EACGS offers a durable yet vibrant product that allows for easy installation and portability. This new innovative product is offered in sizes up to 58 inches wide by 30-40 foot lengths and is coated with a textured/grit lamination to help prevent people from slipping. In addition, it is also fire rated. This product can be used on dance floors, theatrical show decks, flooring for mobile events and even entrance ways. This fabrication is a great new way to Enhance your flooring for your next event.

Budweiser Dance Troop
Enhance a Colour produced a 14 foot circular soccer mat printed in three panels using four-color process inks with a UV floor lamination for protection for the Futbol Kings. Budweiser’s breathtaking freestyle futbol display has been captivating audiences across the nation since the start of last year’s World Cup.

The industry’s signature event recognizes the best of the best in experiential marketing campaigns. Sponsored by Anheuser-Busch InBev, Futbol Kings consisted of appearances at retail accounts and high traffic locations touching upon two Hispanic passion points: soccer and music. With the support of a branded Budweiser Futbol Kings tour bus and soccer mat, a select team of freestyle soccer experts (wearing branded uniforms) and drummers did what they do best: dribble soccer balls to Brazilian beats.

Man and Boy – Hudson Scenic
Enhance a Colour worked with Hudson Scenic Studios to create linoleum flooring for the show ‘Man and Boy’. Instead of repainting a pattern grid layout that could take up to 2-3 weeks to produce, EACGS digitally re-drew the files to create the pattern and then added the effect of making the floor look like linoleum but also giving it a textured look. We then broke it into horizontal panels so it could look seamless on the show deck. After it was produced, Hudson applied their theatrical effects of making the material look aged and easily installed it onto the deck. Once installed, everyone was very happy with the end result. The project was completed within 8 business days from design, proofing and production. The overall size was 35’6″ W x 22’6″ H for the first panel and 14’9″ W x 12’3″ H for the second panel.
