In addition to large scale backdrops and show decks which Enhance a Colour has become known for over the past few years or so, we also help out with the smaller stage pieces on Broadway. From props, to cart visuals, to wall flats, there is nothing Enhance a Colour cannot do to help you. Just this month we worked with scenic designers on the “Beauty and the Beast National Tour” and American Repertory Theatre’s “Finding Neverland”.

With “Beauty and the Beast”, EaC worked with Designer Stanley Myers, Assistant Designer Christine Peters and Prop Master Emiliano Pares from BB Props to create several different prop pieces. We produced these props using dye-sublimated printed fabric for double sided trumpet flags, 4 foot double sided printed fabric “plate” props for top hats along with custom sewing for the finishing of these pieces.

In “Finding Neverland” we worked with Designer Scott Pask, Assistant Designer Orit Carroll and Production Manager Stephen Setterlun. The issue: Create dimensional flower pieces to fit around a door on a cart/flat while needing 81 different flowers to appear 3D. They needed to be stiff and yet have great vibrancy while ranging in colors like yellow, red & purple with contrasting color centerpieces in each. The answer: Enhance a Colour’s rubberized promotional grade carpet which was dye-sublimated for great color vibrancy and laser die-cut to a different size shape for each flower.
