Gotham Hall, an event rental venue in NYC that hosts upscale affairs and celebrations, asked Enhance a Colour (EaC) to create and produce permanent coverings to camouflage the wall-mounted acoustic baffle panels in the main room of their Broadway locale.

EaC’s solution was to create faux-brick-look fabric wraps, printed full-color dye-sublimation direct to heavy-knit fabric for all 21 acoustic panels to blend in with the existing historic brick walls.

On-site installation work for all panels – which ranged from 9 ft. to 13 ft. high. – was done by EaC’s team of 3M-certified installation professionals, making it possible for acoustic panels to be much less noticeable. And, should a client want an added branding opportunity at their event (to feature a company logo, for example), the wraps can be swapped out for customized ones at any time.

Challenge: Make an upscale event venue’s acoustic baffle panels less unsightly and conspicuous

Solution: In order to make 21 acoustic panels – ranging from 9 ft. to 13 ft. high – blend in with the existing historic brick walls, faux-brick fabric wraps were created by printing full-color dye-sublimation direct to heavy-knit fabric. The wraps can be swapped out at any time, should a client want to feature their branded image or logo at their event.
