McKinney Advertising, of New York, NY and Durham, NC, was asked to create a pop-up store in New York City for Sennheiser’s Momentum and Urbanite brand headphones so they turned to Enhance a Colour for help with the visual displays.

McKinney wanted the six Sennheiser “storefront” windows to be covered in solid black with only small “peep” holes allowing passersby to see inside. One of the six windows also had a custom “ear”-shaped cut-out revealing a 3D replica of a human ear in the window, with the store name – “Ear Love Palace” – in white cut-vinyl type applied second surface to the window.

EaC also helped with visuals inside the Palace, creating a 40 sq ft. square wall mural with a “Let Your Ears Be Loved” message and other cut vinyl Sennheiser logos throughout the temporary retail store.

Installation was performed by EaC’s team of 3M-certified installers, which meant McKinney Advertising only had to turn to one company – EaC – for the complete job.

Challenge: Visuals for the storefront windows/doors and interior of pop-up Sennheiser retail store selling the latest headphone technology

Solution: All stored front windows and doors were covered in solid black 3M adhesive vinyl with cut out “peep” holes allowing people to peer inside. One window featured a custom “ear”-shaped cut-out revealing a 3D replica of a human ear and the store name – “Ear Love Palace” – in white cut-vinyl type applied second surface to the window. As well, a 40 sq. ft. “Let Your Ears Be Loved” adhesive wall mural and other cut-vinyl logos were created and installed throughout the store.
