Challenge: Chelsea Pier was opening their new 65,000 sq. ft athletic club and wanted a 4ft by 6ft back lit fabric display installed and operational in time for the grand opening. The finished display required an overlay of tempered glass with wall stand offs and cut vinyl lettering. Since the glass was a special order item EaC printed a temporary back lit fabric banner for the gym to use until the glass arrived. Once the glass was installed we changed out the printed fabric banner with the final solid PMS back light dye sublimation banner.

Solution: To install a 4ft by 6ft backlit display with a dye-sub silicon edge fabric banner printed with printed type.

Once the tempered glass arrived EaC applied cut pressure sensitive vinyl to the front of the glass for final installation.
We used 4″ standoffs for the tempered glass and we also installed a dye-sub fabric print with sewn silicon gaskets to fit into SEG frame system.
