Working with Acadia Scenic and Red Studios, Enhance a Colour was brought on to produce fabric and acrylic light boxes for the set of The Toy Box, ABC’s new toy competition show. The custom printed fabric and acrylic displayed toys through the ages would be installed onto backlit frames around the set where the panel of pint-sized judges got to test toys!
“The Toy Box is the ultimate toy-competition series, providing talented designers with the chance of a lifetime – an opportunity to bring their toy concept to life with industry-giant Mattel and to the shelves of Toys”R”Us® the day after the season finale. Hosted by Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family), inventors present a wide variety of games, plushies and educational, creative and imagination-building toys to the toughest panel of judges – a rotating roster of no-nonsense, toy-loving kids.”
Light boxes are a great feature on sets because of their ability to be changed quickly and effortlessly. Having a backlit SEG frame system adhered to the wall means you just have to pull off the existing fabric from the frame and replace it with the new fabric visual whenever you need to switch it up. Whether your graphics need to be changed seasonally or each week for a different show, SEG light boxes make a world of difference for your visuals.
