To create a true Harry Potter experience for the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at The Lyric Theatre in Times Square, AKA NYC wanted to place an interactive telephone booth on the sidewalk outside the show which, in the J.K. Rowling movies, transports visitors to the Ministry of Magic when they dial M-A-G-I-C. For a year the booth remained on the street, but it currently lives inside The Lyric Theater.
